League Updates

The Chief Tornado – a Raging Wind or a Gentle Breeze?

This week was supposed to be my final week doing daily updates for the EFL. Tomorrow Ron returns home, and I head out to Hawaii for a family vacation. Things were looking so promising for the Tornadoes, having gotten to within 1.5 games of the Rosebuds – when BP crashed. We have now missed several days of updates, and I don’t really know how close or far I am from the Rosebuds. I have had some good days (by my count) and one bad pitching performance (James Paxton against my beloved Red Sox, so it was ok), and the Rosebuds had at least one good day (Betts with a 3 HR game and Marquez throwing 7 IP with 2 ER). But he also had some so-so days, so who knows?!?! We are all in the dark until our beloved Team Tracker returns.

And no matter what, I won’t get to spin the victorious tale nor glibly pass over a Rosebud leap (or who knows, a Wolverine ambush?). It will all be up to Ron, and for that I am truly sorry excited. I, for one, have missed his voice – and I know a few of you have, too.

So, welcome back, Ron! And hurry back BP – we need you. Until then, I’ll be on a beach, or in the ocean, or by the pool.

Thanks for reading my posts, for your kind responses, and for making my first stint as daily updater one that I’ll always cherish.

Your friend,

The Chief Tornado
