Background and Mission

When we get together, I want to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours.             –Romans 1:12

Background

Salem Alliance Church (SAC) and international workers in the Arab Lands Field with the company have partnered together for over a decade in providing spiritual and physical care for those in need. In the Arab Lands field, SAC has helped establish a Life Center that offers language classes and job skills training, as well as supporting the International Church with short-term teams and financial support.

The 2019 RTI Team (SAC) will provide direct support to the International Church by overseeing church ministries from March through June while the lead pastor is away on home assignment. The RTI Team will plan services, carry on preaching and teaching ministries in weekend services, along with worship leading and technical support, in hopes of ensuring a continuity of ministry and care for church attenders and volunteer leaders.

Mission

The RTI Team seeks to be a source of encouragement and a model of service to the international workers and church participants in the Arab lands. We hope to be living examples of the Apostle Paul’s heart for giving and receiving within the community of faith, as followers of Jesus.

We also seek to encourage the pastor and his family while they are away in the U.S., and shepherd the flock as temporary caretakers, sharing the love and hope of Jesus with all those we encounter.
