2016 Draft Order

Here is the 2016 draft order to light your way through the dark winter nights.

You all know how much I hate to disappoint the Alleghenys, But I’m afraid there is one small disappointment here: in the crucial first round of the 2016 Rookie Draft, the Kangaroos — not the Wolverines — will be drafting just in front of the Alleghenys. The  Wolverines are, by the terms of a trade made during the 2015 Rookie Draft, banished forward to the 11th pick.

Note:  Old Detroit traded its 2015 Rookie Draft first round pick (#29) to Canberra for Jurickson Profar and the right to swap first round Rookie Draft picks in the first year in which all of the following are true: 1. The Wolverines have a later pick than the Kangaroos, and 2. The Kangaroo pick is not in the first three picks overall, unless the Wolverines’ pick is in the first 10 picks, and 3. The Kangaroos do not have the first EFL pick unless the Wolverines’ pick is in the first 10 overall picks or is only one or two EFL picks after the Kangaroos.
