Muncy: First Homer of the 2019 Season!

Max Muncy just blasted the first homer of the new 2019 season, putting the Wolverines ahead on Opening Day to start their march toward the EFL Cham…

What? Come on. The 2018 World Series was over a long time ago…

18th inning? Don’t be ridiculous.  There’s never been an 18-inning World Series game. If that was still the third game of the 2018 World Series, the game would have had to last 7 hours and 20 minutes. I heard the announcers.  They said there have been entire World Series that didn’t take that long to play.

Nate Eovaldi threw 96 pitches before Muncy homered.  I don’t think anyone has thrown 96 pitches in one game since sometime back in August of 2018. So how could anyone throw that many in only 1/3 of a ball game?…

You’re claiming there were 561 pitches in a single game? Think about it.  That’s easily two games’ worth of pitches.

Clearly, the Red Sox finished their World Series sweep sometime after I dozed off at 9:00 on Oct 26, 2018.  That was a different day, long, long ago. Muncy’s homer will count toward 2019 standings…

Yes, of course, you can appeal this ruling to the entire league. If you don’t mind being laughed at.
