Canberra is over .500 for the season, up 3 places in the standings from the beginning of the month.  Kaline started slow this month, but is now over .500 for the month (.503) and has gained two places in the standings.  And, of course, Pittsburgh is the hottest team in May and has gained on the leaders even though they are also playing well (Old Detroit: .581, Haviland .543 in May).

For the offense:  Canberra is running .915 OPS for 7.48 rc/g. Pittsburgh is a distant second (5.78 rc/g), followed by Old Detroit (5.50 rc/g).
