If you’re Wade LeBlanc, you might not want to pick this moment to ask “how do you like me now?”

.
Haviland: “L”, 5 – 3. (.238, .333, .333; 2.3 ip, 0 er). Anthony Rizzo is finally getting over his homesickness for Old Detroit. His June line: .371, .532, .600. A .532 OBP will always play.
.
Cottage: W 1, L (-1); 4 – 0. (.303, .410, .515; no pitching) . Something is wrong with Logan Forsythe, whose June line goes .071, .133, .071. Forsythe has struck out in 43.3% of his Cheese plate appearances.
.
Flint Hill: L, (-1) – 4. (.100, .217, .100; 2 ip, 0 er). Mark Reynolds was having his career season when he came to the Tornados in the trade with Canberra, where he has gotten even better: .316, .422, .737.
.
Pittsburgh: W (-1), L 2; 5 – 17. (.176, .211, .353; 9.7 ip, 14 er). Yikes! Adelberto Mejia chulked to the Mariners! 3.7 ip, 8 er. Stephen Strasburg struggled, too: 5 ip, 6 er.
.
Kaline: W, 9 – 5. (.351, .405, .622; 1 ip, 0 er). Mike Zunino continues to shine: 3 for 5 with a homer yesterday; .364, .405, .758 for June so far.
.
Portland: W, 6 – 3. (. 313, .333 .563; 2.3 ip, 0 er). I have been waiting for Chris Iannetta to be who he can be for a decade now. His June line: .333, .444, 867, for the top offensive performance of the month for the Rosebuds. His .862 season OPS is the best of his career.
.
Peshastin: W, 10 – 1. (.382, .488, .676; 6 ip, 0 er). Wow! What a great day in Peshastin. Mitch Haniger is back, with a vengeance: 4 for 6 yesterday with a double. Jameson Taillon is back with 5 scoreless innings.
.
Canberra: “W”, 3 – 6. (.238, .304, .286; 7.3 ip, 5 er). Rick Porcello is the latest flat tire in the Kangaroo’s journey: 6.o ip, 5 er. Chris Davis is struggling: .226, .32o, .461 on the season, slightly worse in June (.211, .286, .447), and 0 for 2 yesterday.
.
Old Detroit: “L”, 7 – 6. (.417, .440, .542 — another Edgar Martinez Day! Our third in a row or something! 5.7 ip, 3 er). Wade LeBlanc was mediocre for Seattle last year (4.50 ERA) but outstanding once he got to Pittsburgh late in the season (0.75 ERA over 12 innings). He continued to shine this year: a 3.38 ERA in April almost convinced me to draft him in May. A 1.96 ERA in May DID convince me draft him in June, especially with his 20 K’s in 18.3 May innings. He didn’t fall apart until June 6, since which he has gone 4.3 innings, allowing 8 earned runs. That’s a 16.62 ERA. So how do I like him now? Not so much.
.
DC: W, 10 – 7. (.364, .417, .667; 11.7 ip, 7 er.) The Balk picked up Jesse Hahn this month in trade. He’s gone 11 ip, 3 er for a spiffy 2.45 ERA. His May ERA — the one that got him his ticket out of Flint Hill — was 6.11 in 17.7ip. I wonder which is the real Jesse Hahn.
