Dragons catch Woe… Look! All Stars!

Don’t look now.  I’m serious.  Don’t look at the standings. There’s nothing all that important going on there.  Instead — let’s look at the EFL players in the All-Star game!

(Ed. Note: These results have been corrected, showing Chris Sale as a Rosebud.  I had unthinkingly identified him as still being a Pear.)

National League Tally: 13 0ut of 34

3:  Drive

2:  Cheese, Kangaroos, Wolverines

1:   Alleghenys, Balk, Dragons, Rosebuds,

0:  Pears, Tornados

EFL Total Tally: 27 0ut of 68 (our share:  20.4)

5:  Wolverines, Rosebuds

4:  Alleghenys, Drive,

3:  Dragons

2:  Cheese, Kangaroos, Tornados

1:  Balk, Pears

The Dragons, Drive and Rosebuds each could add one more to their total depending on the outcome of the two “last man” elections. The Dragons actually have two candidates in the NL, so they have about a 50% chance of getting their fourth All-Star.

So, now that we know which teams have done best in the first half, the official standings would be a mere formality.  Probably not worth your time to bother with. So don’t scroll down or anything.
