Bert graduated from high school in 1946; this is his graduation portrait.

This film clip is about Bert & Frankie’s wedding. The title frame gives the wedding date: March 5, 1949. The clip doesn’t show the wedding ceremony, but it shows the couple driving off afterwards, and a few seconds from the reception. Then the scene shifts to a cabin in the mountains, surrounded by snow, and a staged scene starring both Bert and Frankie. I don’t know who shot the film; perhaps one of Bert’s parents. it seems a bit strange for a honeymoon event, if that’s what it was. Unfortunately, there’s no sound.

This is a Christmas card that Bert & Frankie sent out. It is folded in half lengthwise, with the front panel shown on the left here and the inside panel shown on the right.
