Sinkin, Stinkin

It was fun while it lasted. But we aren’t going to be at the head of the table much longer. Because of quirky EFL traditions, we must send our ruined, rotten rep to the lead position for one more draft, but it won’t be right. I don’t know how we got exposed – we’ve been trying to keep our distance – but we seem to have caught a bad case of Wolveritis.

And it’s getting worse, not better. Harper hit .250 for May, but so far in June he’s hitting .150. Logan Forsythe, whom I got because Maikel Franco wasn’t hitting (and to be fair, he never could) is oh-for-June in 20 at-bats. And Trout is Out.

But we’ll have great memories. Of April, and league supremacy. Oh, I need to check with Old Detroit: How long do these cases of Wolveritis usually stay with a team?

  • How long does wolveritis last? No one knows. The Wolverines themselves, who seemed to have been healed, are back in its throes.
